Angela Cameron Registered Nurse
Angela began her career in aged care as a school-based administration trainee. Through Garden Village Angela completed a Certificate III in Aged Care followed by her Enrolled Nurse training. Her passion for nursing and commitment to professional growth led her to pursue further training to become a Registered Nurse. After completing her postgraduate placement, Angela returned to Garden Village, where she now plays a key role in supporting and expanding Home Care Services. “It is so rewarding working in the community and aged care settings and assisting those that need it most, the appreciation you get from your clients is what makes you get up and go to work every day,” said Angela.
Brenda Wright Support Worker
Brenda has lived in the Wauchope area for 18 years and settled with her family in Beechwood. She loves the small community and the feeling of inclusion. When her parents entered an aged care facility, she took on the role of transporting and supporting their needs which led to a career in Home Care Support. Having worked in the industry for 8 years Brenda is thrilled to have joined Garden Village and is grateful for the support and inclusiveness that the staff are shown.
Belinda Fitzpatrick Support Worker
Wauchope local Belinda joined Garden Village in 2024 and loves the versatility of the work as a Garden Village Support Worker she travels to clients in Dunbogan, Wauchope, Thrumster and Port Macquarie. Belinda loves camping at Urunga and Bribey Island and enjoys the Mid North Coast lifestyle. One of her clients said “Belinda provides the best cleaning service of all time and always works with a smile.”
Laura Grice
Laura completed a Certificate 4 Individual Support (Aged Care) and is continuing her education through online learning. “I love working for Garden Village. Garden Village is a positive, supportive organisation. Everyone is always cheerful and helpful. I love assisting my clients to live at home safer for longer. All my clients have amazing stories and life experiences that they love to share and pass on. Most importantly I treat everyone as a person and how I want to be treated. I love the conversations and time I have with all my clients. I truly feel blessed to be so welcomed into their homes and lives.”
