Our Accreditations

Garden Village complies with
Aged Care Quality Standards

Garden Village places individual needs at the centre of planning, delivering and reviewing care. The safety, health, wellbeing and quality of life of people in our care is our first priority.

Garden Village is assessed and provides evidence of compliance with and performance against the Quality Standards. The Quality Standards focus on outcomes and reflect the level of care and services the community can expect.

The Quality Standards include eight individual Standards:

  • Consumer dignity and choice
  • Ongoing assessment and planning with consumers
  • Personal care and clinical care
  • Services and supports for daily living
  • Organisation’s service environment
  • Feedback and complaints
  • Human resources
  • Organisational governance

Aged Care Star Ratings

Garden Village achieves five stars for compliance and quality in new Aged Care Star Ratings. The new star ratings system for Aged Care launched in December 2022 giving residents and families information about quality, compliance, residents’ experiences and staffing levels in residential aged care services across the country. 


Garden Village is accredited by the Australian Retirement Village Accreditation Scheme (ARVAS). Quality Innovation Performance Limited (QIP) is Australia’s most comprehensive not for profit accreditation organisation, dedicated to delivering accreditation and support services to health and community organisations. 

Retirement Living Code of
Conduct Foundation Member

Garden Village is a Foundation Member of the Retirement Living Code of Conduct. This industry initiative is focused on the wellbeing of residents to support people choosing retirement living options. Garden Village is committed to setting and maintaining high-quality standards and attaining high resident satisfaction in our retirement village.

NDIS Registered Provider

The Garden Village Community Services team can support people with services funded by the NDIS. We offer NDIS Support to people over the age of 18 in the community. 


Located in Port Macquarie on the NSW Mid North Coast, Garden Village is a leading Retirement Living, Aged Care, Disability and Home Care Service. As a registered not for profit we’ve provided care services to the community for over 40 years.

For more than 40 years, Garden Village has provided homes, care and support for ageing Australians on the land of the Birpai people. We pay our respects to all First Nations Ancestors, Elders and People in our community and throughout Australia. We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of Country, and their continuing connection to land, sea, culture and community.
