Hydrotherapy Pool
Make a splash at the Garden Hydrotherapy Pool. The pool is open to residents year round for aqua aerobics, physiotherapy, aquatic therapy, swimming and gentle exercise. The warm pool temperature assists people with arthritis and joint pain as well as supporting mobility for people with disabilities. The Hydrotherapy Pool is one of only three in the region. The pool is free for residents and available for a limited number of private bookings by allied health, support workers and community groups (fee for service).
About hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy is gentle exercise in the pool heated to 33 degrees. It supports your health and wellbeing goals in a safe enjoyable environment. Hydrotherapy can help reduce muscle aches and tiredness, increase muscle strength and improve cardiovascular fitness and balance. The Garden Village hydrotherapy pool offers:
- A full sling hoist into the pool (training available on request)
- Accessible change rooms and bathroom facilities
- Privacy for your peace of mind
- A range of pool exercise equipment
- A spa for your use
Private bookings
The Garden Village Hydrotherapy Pool is open for private bookings, individual or group bookings with an allied health professional.
Bookings are available between 11:30 and 1:00pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
All professionals who use the pool are required to have Risk Assessment compliance, CPR qualification, First Aid and Insurances. Please ensure continence swimwear is worn if required by client. Contact Garden Village for further information.

You can purchase from the NightNDay website or call 02 9531 2011 . The price of the basic swim pants is $64.95 + $14.95 Freight. Garden Village residents can ask stores to purchase and we will bill you.
No the hydrotherapy pool is not open to the public. Community members can only attend with a prearranged health professional or support worker. Email rl@gardenvillage.com.au
