Catering

We have a large commercial kitchen on site, as well as two satellite kitchens. We run two onsite cafes, a restaurant and provide restaurant style dining for three meals a day in our three aged care facilities. So as you can imagine we require a crew of dedicated catering staff to keep this service going. Our catering crew includes Chefs, Cooks, Kitchen Hands, Baristas and Wait Staff.

Maintenance

We provide repairs and maintenance support to over 200 retirement village homes, three aged care homes and a portfolio of community areas such as the pool, hall, chapel, shops and library.

To make this happen we have a team of hardworking tradesmen including a Painter, Carpenter, Electrician, Builder and Plumber.

Cleaning Services

Our incredible cleaning crew ensure that all of our buildings, facilities and outdoor areas are clean and safe. They work tirelessly to keep Garden Village looking immaculate and free from infection.

They also offer in-house laundry services to both our aged care and self-care residents, ensuring the sheets are fresh and shirts are freshly pressed every day.

Recreational Activities

Our Recreational Activities Officers have all the fun. They quite literally do, as their role is to create opportunities for social and physical interactions for all our aged care and retirement living residents. From special events such as Halloween, Christmas in July and Melbourne Cup to daily activities such as walks, gardening, dancing and bingo, this team know how to bring a smile to your face.

Admissions

Our incredible admissions team work tirelessly to make sure we have the right accommodation and services ready when a member of the community needs our help.

Working closely with prospective residents and their families, our admissions teams are often the first point of contact as welcome new members into our community.

Clinical Staff

Our clinical team consists of Nurse Unit Managers, Registered Nurses, Endorsed Enrolled
Nurses and Assistants in Nursing. The team provides
genuine care, support and compassion to our beautiful Garden Village residents.

Home Care Team

Our home care team offer the services and support that enable people to remain in the comfort of their home for longer.

They work closely with Garden Village residents as well as more broadly across the Port Macquarie community and love nothing more than making someone’s day brighter and more enjoyable.

Customer Service Officers

This team is the face of Garden Village as all staff, visitors and residents arrive on site. Ever smiling, this incredible team juggle face to face customer service and phone calls as well as concierge services, administration duties, enquiries and deliveries.

Finance

Our finance team consists of Accountants, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and the ever important – Payroll. This team ensures that our business is a viable operation, so that we can continue to deliver support and services to our residents and the broader community.

Rostering

Our rostering team match up our team’s availability with the operational requirements across all of our services and facilities. These guys are like a puzzle master where somehow they make everything fit and run smoothly week in and week out.

Human Resources

Our Human Resources team is all about our staff. As our incredible Garden Village teams work hard delivering exceptional care, support and services to our community, the Human Resources team do the same for our people. Human Resources are here in whatever capacity our team need us for.

Volunteer

Our wonderful community bring our vibrant village to life. We host a calendar of fun events for everyone to enjoy. Thanks to the generosity of our volunteers a myriad of activities, days out and events take place. Volunteers assist with transport, the Men’s Shed, Craft Groups and regular companionship for our residents.
