5 Steps to Retirement Living
Step One
Book a tour at Garden Village Call us to request an information kit to be sent to you, or make an appointment for a tour.
Alternatively, you may like to complete the Enquiry Form and we will contact you. We would be delighted to provide a tour to see if our lifestyle and location suit you.
Meet our friendly team and discover all the amenities including the hydrotherapy pool, gymnasiums, café, community centre, men’s shed, Op Shop and wonderful outdoor spaces.
Step Two
Deposit & Application
After you have met our friendly team, and had a tour of our community you might decide that you would like to deposit on a unit. Contact the friendly Retirement Living Manager who will provide you with the necessary Apartment Reservation Form and Application form.
Paying a deposit for the unit will immediately remove it from the market while we commence the application process. We generally allow 12 weeks for settlement, allowing plenty of time for the application process and you to sell your current home
Step Three
Acceptance & Contracts
Once the application process is complete we will arrange to meet with you to provide the Contract and complete a Condition Report on your new home.
This must occur at least 14 days prior to your settlement to allowing you ample time to understand the contract and seek legal advice if you wish.
Step Four
Choose a settlement date
Most people need to sell their home to move into Garden Village. We will work closely with you to ensure this is a seamless and stress-free time. We can work with you and your conveyancer or legal representation to choose a convenient settlement date.
Once you have exchanged on your sale, we will be able to identify a suitable move-in date at Garden Village.
Step Five
Settlement and Moving Day
Congratulations! This is an exciting day. You will pay the ingoing contribution today, and we will sign contracts. The Garden Village team caters to your individual needs to ensure all the comforts are in place on your day of arrival. We look forward to welcoming you to our wonderful community.
