Garden Village is excited to offer five (5) part time traineeships providing the opportunity to earn while you learn, whilst you gain a nationally recognised qualification in Certificate III in Individual Support.
Supporting our Aged Care and Disability clients across Port Macquarie and Hasting regions, our Community Care and Home Support team help maintain our client’s independence and live their best lives by providing flexible, person-centred support in their own homes.
About the traineeship program
In conjunction with our training partner, you be supported through study program in block mode, that will enable you to build your knowledge and skills through a 18-24 month traineeship, whilst working and gaining practical experience.
Due the structure of the program, set study periods will be confirmed, with the expectation that trainees are available to participate / attend.
Outside of these study dates, you will work a guaranteed 24 hours per week, providing you the on-the-job experience as you build your confidence and client connections.
About you….
If you want to work with people and genuinely want to change a person’s day, everyday, a traineeship may be that change you are seeking.
You will have:
- Compassion, integrity and a genuine desire to help others
- Willingness to learn and apply your skills
- A current drivers license and your own reliable transport;
- Evidence or medical exemption of Covid-19 vaccination (3 doses minimum) and influenza vaccination upon start date.
