Training opportunities to support Ageing in Place at Garden Village
At Garden Village, we’re passionate about creating a welcoming home for residents and a strong, skilled workforce that supports the wellbeing and independence of older Australians. One of the ways we’re doing this is by investing in local people and providing real-world experience as part of their training in the aged care sector.
In August seven trainees commenced their Certificate III in Individual Support through CHS Training, a registered training organisation (RTO) with experience in delivering high-quality, hands-on education. From day one, they are immersed in the day-to-day care and connection that supports our residents to age in place and remain independent, comfortable and part of a vibrant community. A warm welcome to: Christine, Jasmyn, Chloe, Jackson, Janette, Kristy and Luya. Trainees are gaining essential experience at Garden Village, where they’re learning directly from our skilled caring teams supported by CHS Trainer Mel Cockshutt.
