This International Nurses Day we share our thanks with Garden Village nurses, and assistants.
Celebrated each year on 12 May International Nurses Day is held on the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth. This year our community can share a message of thanks online. Garden Village will honour our nurses on the digital wall of gratitude. You can share a personal thank you to one nurse or a team.
Garden Village CEO Craig Weare and residents’ family have shared their thanks over the weekend.
“The nursing and care team at Garden Village provides great loving care to all of our residents and families. Thank you! I think the pandemic has demonstrated to the community, the lengths nurses and carers (and the whole Garden Village team) go to to achieve their goal of caring for people. Enjoy this day as a small token of appreciation for your wonderful work. Thank you.,” said Craig Wearne.
Staff go the extra mile
“Many thanks to the nursing staff and all employees at Garden Village. My wife Janice is one of the Residents in the Lodge. The care and understanding of all staff is very impressive and appreciated. I have nothing but praise for the way my wife and other Residents are being cared for. Staff go the extra mile to ensure the comfort and well being of Residents. Staff carry out their duties in a friendly and efficient manner which is very much appreciated. All areas are spotlessly clean and hygienic and the food provided is of high quality. I take comfort in knowing that my wife and other residents are in excellent care. Thank you Garden Village,” said Geoff Bynon.
